CT & MRI Building Works
Positive patient care experiences was key in this CT and MRI fitout for South West Radiology at Campbelltown. We constructed a new room for the CT, and then the old CT room was demolished and a new MRI room was constructed within the existing tenancy without disruption to patient workflow, including the installation of a sky ceiling.
Having a unique sky ceiling sets the practice apart from other service providers to ensure patients have a positive experience. Such sky ceilings can be installed for any healthcare industry – medical, dental, veterinary or, as in this case, medical imaging.
Our brief for this sky ceiling:
Our client wanted to provide their patients with the opportunity to experience a different environment compared to the standard four walls of an MRI Room. As part of our process, we presented a range of backlit images for the wall and ceiling areas of the MRI Room. Our client selected an outdoor image which we resized to compliment the equipment position and the room layout. The result is that during an MRI appointment, patients can view a relaxing, natural image which is displayed on a section of the wall and part of the ceiling. The image contributes to an improved experience for patients, and it also delivers a key point of difference in terms of the room aesthetics for our client.
