Medical Imaging Fitout
We were briefed to take an 800 m2 empty shell and convert it into a full diagnostic imaging practice including MRI, CT, SPECT/CT, general x-ray, BDM, OPG, ultrasound and mammography modalities, plus a staff room with great views over the Eastern Distributor and leafy surrounds.
The project was completed in 12 weeks and involved multiple challenges including night crane lifts from South Dowling Street to deliver large machines through the external façade and installation of a sheet steel magnetic shield above the level 4 Virgin Active Gym café, carried out at night, drainage installation down through the neighbouring tenancies and make good.
